Carnival’s New Restaurant
Carnival's introducing an interesting take-off on the new cruise ship craze of hooking up with established restaurants (Royal Caribbean's Johnny Rockets for instance). Carnival Spirit, beginning next month, will be offering crab claws in its alternative restaurant. But not just any crab claws: these are coming from Miami's infamous Joe's Stone Crab restaurant, one of that city's most enduring -- and classic -- eateries. The ship's boutique "Nouveau Supper Club," which is Carnival's first foray into that cruise concept, will of course offer other entrees, but beware: there's a pretty hefty $15 (per person) service fee to eat there.
