(5:45 p.m.) -- Tropical Storm Tammy, which seemingly came out of nowhere last night to become the season's next named storm, is making its way up Florida's east coast. Tammy, which earlier passed by the port of Port Canaveral, is now off the coast of northern Florida and moving north/northwest.
Winds have increased slightly from this morning -- from 40 to 50 miles per hour.
So far Tammy is not impacting any departures from that port but we'll keep an eye out on others along the Atlantic coast -- Jacksonville, Charleston, Norfolk -- in the coming days. We'll keep you posted.
