| Rhapsody Finally Docks in Galveston |
Royal Caribbean's Rhapsody of the Seas finally pulled into the Port of Galveston today -- three days later than originally scheduled. The ship, which typically sails seven-night Western Caribbean voyages from Galveston, has amended the cruise that had been slated to depart on Sunday, September 25. Rhapsody of the Seas will depart at 5 p.m. this evening for a four-night sailing featuring one port call, in Cozumel.
Royal Caribbean is offering the option to cancel outright. Those folks will receive a letter of credit for the amount they paid for their cruise. Otherwise, passengers who do sail will receive a 50 percent refund and $100 in onboard credit; the latter can also be applied to a future Royal Caribbean cruise.
