Key West Finally Accepts Ships
Key West, which was positioned a mere 89 miles east of the eye of the storm called Dennis, is back up and running for the most part -- most bars, shops and attractions are open for business. And yet, passengers on Royal Caribbean's Grandeur of the Seas and Carnival's Fascination had to bypass Key West today because of damage to navigational aids that are crucial to captains' and pilots' maneuvers.

The good news? A spokesman for Key West says that the port will resume normal cruise operations beginning tomorrow. Carnival's Celebration is the only ship due in tomorrow, with Imagination and Royal Caribbean's Majesty and Empress of the Seas on schedule to visit later in the week.
