| Galapagos Cruises’ Fate |
There’s still no definitive word about the fate of Galapagos Cruises. The company, a San Diego-based subsidiary of Marco Polo Vacations, is no longer in operation -- having ceased operations in early January. A son of the company president says that while Galapagos Cruises is not, technically, out of business (voice mail identifying the company still answers the phone though messages are not returned), neither is it operating.
Cruise passengers who booked voyages on Galapagos Cruises -- and who charged their trips on a credit card -- should apply to their credit card company for reimbursement.
