Tropical Storm Arlene Alters Holiday's Path

Arlene Poses Minimal Threat

(June 10) -- Carnival is announcing today its Holiday, which homeports in Mobile, Alabama, will now return from its current cruise, a five-night Western Caribbean sojourn, a day late. The ship, originally scheduled to arrive at Mobile on Saturday, is now expected to return on Sunday at approximately 4 p.m.

That means that the five-night cruise that was supposed to depart Mobile tomorrow will be abbreviated and will instead pull away on Sunday at about 8 p.m. That itinerary will still feature two sea days and a stop at Cozumel, but will lose a call at Costa Maya. Embarkation, according to Carnival's statement, will take place from 5 until 6:30 p.m.

Those who wish to cancel the modified cruise can do so and receive a full refund; otherwise, folks who go will get a 20 percent refund of their cruise fare and a $50 per-person shipboard credit.
