Friday Night Cruise Departures
Celebrity's new take on "Thank God It's Friday" means that its Horizon will begin sailing on Friday nights (10 p.m.), from Miami. The ship, built in 1990 (Celebrity's oldest) and carrying 1,354 passengers, will start these seven-day Western Caribbean cruises from Miami on November 9. The announced starting fares seem pretty bargainish -- from $599 per person. The ship's itinerary includes Key West, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Progresso, part of the Mexican Yucatan. No word from Celebrity on whether the ship's late night departure means passengers will get sleeping-in disembarkation times....
