Carnival Ships Return to Key West Full-Time

October 25, 2004
Carnival has announced that Fascination, Imagination and Carnival Glory will resume "normal" calls to Key West in November, following the completion of several months of renovations to the port's Outer Mole pier.

The overhaul to the pier began this spring, at which time Fascination started visiting Key West on a limited basis only, utilizing alternate piers on the island. Imagination and Carnival Glory did not call at Key West at all during the renovation period.

Fascination will resume regular weekly calls to Key West on Tuesdays beginning November 1; Imagination will resume its every-other-Friday visits on November 4, and Carnival Glory will return to calling in Key West every other Sunday as of November 6.

Carnival Glory, based at Port Canaveral, operates year-round weeklong cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. The Miami-based Fascination sails three-day Bahamas and four-day Key West/Cozumel itineraries year-round. Imagination, also homeported at Miami, operates four- and five-day Caribbean voyages year-round.
