Oceania Earns Restitution from Travel Guard
Oceania Cruises, which earlier this week had been summarily placed on Travel Guard's list of travel companies for whom it would not provide financial default coverage, has now been taken off the list. That means that Travel Guard, one of the industry's leading vacation travel insurers, will once again write financial default coverage into its consumer policies for Oceania.

Oceania co-honcho Frank Del Rio was graciously diplomatic about the resolution of the issue, which was described by both the cruise line and the insurer as merely a communication problem. "I am pleased," Del Rio says, "that this administrative snafu is behind us. Oceania Cruises has done extremely well from the very beginning and our future bookings are very strong."
