Celebrity Expands Acupuncture To 5 Ships
Celebrity Expands Acupuncture To 5 Ships Celebrity, which launched cruising's only acupuncture-at-sea program in a test effort onboard Infinity last summer, now plans to expand the service to four other ships in the fleet. The program will be available during specific monthly periods onboard Millennium, Constellation, Summit and Galaxy, as well as Infinity.

As part of the onboard acupuncture program, two to four doctors specializing in Oriental medicine will be on each ship. Acupuncture is useful for treating ills related to pain management, stress management, smoking cessation, and weight loss, among other issues.

As part of each ship's acupuncture service, the program also features lectures on acupuncture and other Asian-oriented subjects, such as feng shui, herb nutrition and healing, and medicinal herb formulas.
