Nice spacious room-enough room for two and the same with the Balcony-had breakfast on the balcony twice-it was wonderful. Middle of the ship-nice walk to all elevators-if that is a concern. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was what I expected, the storage was plentiful and the lighting excellent.
There were no free films on TV, only pay to view.
The furniture in the room (sofa and dressing table chair) were very badly stained and we always used towels on the furniture.
The bathroom was adequate, but the mirrors had "rust" all around the edges and should have been replaced.
The steward kept the cabins clean and came in twice a day and left an assortment of towel animals. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was nice and always made up while we were gone. Adela, our steward, was great. Whenever we asked her for something, it was there. The bed must have been comfortable because we slept soundly almost every night. The one weird thing is that the time changed back to CST the day we left so sunrise was really early. We would wake up to daylight and it would be 6:00am The balcony was good although there were a couple nights that we couldn't sit on it due to rain. Read entire member review >>
Good location, close to stairs/elevators. Enjoyed our balcony. The deck chairs outside have been upgraded and were very comfortable. We asked for an "egg crate" mattress pad enhancement and our cabin steward came through. Read entire member review >>
Accessible Balcony..... Spacious and comfortable for 2 seniors. No maintenance problems, everything worked fine, quiet (except for the gangs of teen and preteens roaming at late night ala any Spring Break). Despite the recent refurb the room and ship are showing their age. Service in the room was outstanding....unobtrusive, attentive and friendly. Read entire member review >>
This cabin was spacious, with a large couch and plenty of storage space. We never heard any noise from the hall or other staterooms. Being near the stairs and elevators was a plus. Read entire member review >>
Cabin had enough room. Arrangement was mediocre. We always get a balcony cabin. Apparently the Jan. 2014 renovation to add more cabins meant reducing size some to squeeze in additional cabins. The duvets are too hot. I had to ask 3 times to exchange the duvet for a blanket. Great cabin, but it was forward. wish I'd booked aft as that was where the dining rooms were. My knees were not happy about that walk. There was a lot of storage space in the cabin. It was great. Read entire member review >>
We arrived at our stateroom to find it beatifully decorated with a not for my wife and daughter from me. A great way to start the trip. I have been disappointed in the past by other cruise lines. Our cabin steward, Golda was outstanding. During our trip she made a different towel animal every night for my daughter, she was very easy to work with, if we were not out of our cabin by the time she finished working she offered to come back when we were ready. Our room was always immaculate, a very difficult task considering we have a 4 year old. I liked the location, far enough away from the elevators to keep it quiet. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 7640. A short walk from the elevators. Comfy bed but awful pillows! Room temperature easily controlled. Refrigerator included sodas, snacks and water to purchase. No alcohol. Two chairs and a table on the balcony. Tiny bathroom counter space! Nice shower with a door instead of a curtain. Adequate blow dryer. Read entire member review >>
8306 great cabin, around the corner from the Internet cafe, elevators and stairs. Very quiet comfortable cabin. We have booked this area of the ships we have sailed many times and will continue to do so. Read entire member review >>
Nice size balcony and room. Quiet area. Note this is an adjoining room but our cabin attendant said they were not allowed to open the connecting door on the balcony or between the rooms. My question then why offer an adjoining room? Read entire member review >>
Ocean View with Balcony was offered and that is what we got. Good, clean, tidy, well serviced by the stateroom attendant, the 9th deck is a great one to be on.
Bad point. The removal of tea & coffee making facilities in the cabin, although the last RCI cruise we did had only teabags and coffee creamer so maybe it was a blessing ! Read entire member review >>
Efficient closet, nice bathroom facilities, good climate control, great balcony, OUTSTANDING housekeeper (your mileage may vary). Comfortable couch, decent TV line-up. Sleeping stuff: wonderful. Location: a few steps from elevator corridor, forward, starboard. Deck below, forum shops and snack bar. Read entire member review >>
Our room was not "on the bubble" but was astern on the starboard side. Nice view, comfortable and clean. Closet was good size and permitted us to unpack all of our 2 suitcases. Bathroom was typically small but clean. Overall very nice. The bed was the best part - RCCL has the BEST beds. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was 8656 superior ocean view with a balcony. It was a nice location with a nice balcony. The cabin was a bit small for three adults traveling together, but we managed just fine. The closet held all of our clothes for three, so that was fine as well. The only time the area was a bit noisy was on the last night when the crew was gathering luggage. The passage for them was just adjacent from our room. It was only inconvenient for about an hour and a half and then all was quiet again. For two people this cabin is just fine. The non-suite rooms do not offer amenities such as, conditioner or lotion, so be sure to bring your own. I expected small bottles to be included. (Shampoo is included in the dispenser) Read entire member review >>
Couldn't fault the cabin. It was average size but plenty big enough - we were hardly there. It was great to have the balcony which is like an extension of the cabin and lovely to spend time sitting out on days at sea and when docking and departing ports. Read entire member review >>
9636 is a roomy cabin for 1 or 2 people. The twin beds convert to larger than queen. The balcony extends the space and is a nice place to read or relax. Counter top space in the bathroom is limited (same with all the cabins) so use a hanging shoe bag for your toiletries and convenience. Having a safe and refrigerator is a plus. The hairdryer is lightweight and you might want to bring your own. Read entire member review >>
