The room was quiet despite being right next to the dining room and I was pleasantly surprised by the massive window in this oceanview. It was a great room up to the last two nights of the cruise where the smell of sewage started to permeate the room and made it uninhabitable. Read entire member review >>
The room was a good location from the elevator (close but not too close to hear the noise) and the stairs. It was convenient to get to the main dining room and the floor was very quiet. Being close to the gangway meant an early wake up with clanging on the 2 days we had the port side (even though the room is starboard). The sink clogged up midweek but drained slowly which was ok. The bed was hard even after we asked for an extra duvet (they don't do eggshell mattresses anymore). Toilet wouldn't flush a few times but was fixed within 15 minutes with a phone call to maintenance that would reset the line. Read entire member review >>
We loved our cabin. It was the last cabin in a very short hallway. It backed up to the Sapphire Dining Room, so after dinner was over, it was very quiet. It was a bit larger than most oceanview cabins. There was TONS of storage. I definitely recommend this cabin to anyone that enjoys being lower in the ship. Read entire member review >>
Cabin steward was one of the best of all 12 we've had. Room was adequate. Minor maintenance issues but nothing worth complaining about. Smelled a bit musty at first but we got used to it and did not notice after second day. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was small but not nearly as small as I was expecting. The window was a good size where we could look out at the ocean. There was lots of storage and the beds were comfortable. The staff was wonderful at keeping the room clean. We both loved the towels shaped into animals. I was very happy with the room. Read entire member review >>
Great size with comfortable bed and good quality bedding. Loads of storage and excellent lighting. Bathroom was unexpectedly roomy with a good shower. Plenty of towels. Toiletries minimal but we had brought our own. Bed and room tidied each morning with a turn down service later. Towel sculptures always amusing. We really felt at home at the end of each day and slept really well Read entire member review >>
OK really nothing special - comfortable. No toiletries as such but a pumped shampoo and a small bar of soap. So nothing to make you feel special. Only tea bags no coffee satchets but as we like tea it didn't matter. Attendant was superb, such a lovely helpful guy. Read entire member review >>
Great room, room larger than a normal ocean view room located on the side of the ship, front facing below the bridge of the ship. Very little noise from the hallway as there are not many rooms facing outwards in the same direction as the ship is travelling. Lots of storage room, only disadvantage was that you could not have the window shades open after dusk as the light emitted would impact the vision from the bridge, other than that a great view during the daylight hours.
Room attendant was excellent, very efficient and friendly, Read entire member review >>
I guess this is a typical stateroom at this level of expense. Being our first cruise, we had nothing to compare it to. This being said, the things that stand out were the many areas to store cloths, etc,, Leon (who attended to us all week), and how clean we always found it. We didn't spend much time in the room but when we did it was sufficient, despite the fact that we are accustom to having MUCH MORE room at home. Read entire member review >>
We had an exterior room with a window and the room was bigger than I expected. The two of us did not feel claustrophobic or crowded even with all our luggage (which we slid next to the bed), and we did not hear our neighbors at all despite having a connecting door in the room. I was glad that I did not pay extra for a balcony as I do not think it would have been worth it to us (there was always open chairs by the pools and in the solarium). Room location was actually pretty ideal - the floor itself is very quiet with basically just rooms and a conference room that a group was using to scrapbook. A short walk up a flight of stairs is the theater where the evening show is as well as the early morning meeting points for excursions. It was nice to have such a short walk to start/end the day! 6208 Nice size, private hallway. Next to supply closet, but never heard them. Would request this cabin again. 6677 small, but did not feel crowded. Adjoining room available. Read entire member review >>
Bathroom was comfortable with one person, add another and you may want to fight. Room was quite comfortable and was just fine for my 4 kids in the adjoining room to ours. They were able to put all their clothes away and pack the suitcases away in the closet. I was quite surprised how quite our rooms were seeing the location of our room. Very sound proof.
