Great itinerary, great cruise!

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Musica

Definitely chose this cruise because of the itinerary, we'd travelled from California to Italy over four weeks, but Greece was on our bucket list! This cruise was our final 7 days of vacation, 7 stops, we were delighted with every day! The Musica is a beautiful ship, stylish, clean, comfortable and pretty easy to navigate. We had a standard inside cabin, knowing we'd be out every day. ...

Four of us booked this cruise for the dates and itinerary, well mainly the date. We needed school hols one of the 4 is a teacher! So, we knew there would be kids on board though I don’t think any of us realised quite how many! We wanted a short flight and Venice is under 2 hours for us in the UK, so it was ideal. The itinerary was port heavy and very busy. More later! The embarkation process ...

Envy of Others - You must be joking!

This was our 2nd time on MSC and the first was bad. So why did we go again? The destinations.... Embarkation - This was too many people in too small an area being "assisted" by too few staff. I am disabled, and both myself and my wife (who also has a stick to help walking) were left in a long queue for nearly half an hour before we even got into the cruise terminal. This soured even the start ...

MSC MUSICA 25TH MARCH 2018 FROM VENICE

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Musica

I travelled with daughter, son in law and granddaughter and flew from Dublin to Venice. A private transfer from the airport to the ship had been arranged by our travel agent. Embarkation went very smoothly and quickly, helped by the fact I had requested assistance due to mobility problems. We had two adjoining cabins on deck 9 with the Fantastica Package. The cabins were very spacious with ...

Great itinerary,ship crowded and under-staffed

We chose the cruise for the itinerary and the price. Itinerary was great, and we had many wonderful experiences and memories from the various ports. Especially loved Kator, Montenegro and Corfu. The ship, however, was full to overcrowded, and there were long lines for food at the buffet almost always. The layout of the buffet areas was horrible, and contributed to the long lines for food. ...

Worst cruise ever

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Seaside

It was a maiden voyage. However, everything was terrible. They don’t care about Americans. TV for 21 days every language but English. Closet door fell off twice. Evevators always not working. Shows were repeats and they wouldn’t let you see it twice. No activities to do. Food was TERRIBLE both in dining room and buffet. Buffet was closed most of the time and the and the water or juice machine was ...

Choppy design, not prepared for maiden voyage

I looked forward to the maiden voyage on a new ship and we love the transatlantic itinerary, MSC handled the change in starting point from Venice to Trieste very well. The crew did not seem adequately familiar with the ship and we went thru 4 different waiters in four days in the dining room. The cabin was tiny for a "mini suite" and there was very limited storage space. The pool and water ...

Have been on 17 cruises with 7 different cruise lines Embarkation: Spouse required wheelchair assistance. Had to wait for a long time before we received the assistance, then only taken to ramp to get on ship. We embarked after the mandatory safety drill. After we took showers & dressed the next morning I opened the door at 9:45, to find a note that the safety drill for those who missed ...

Cruised from Venice to Rio over a 3 week period. Had been to most of European ports before, but chose this cruise for the stops in Brazil. Unfortunately had to miss Fortaleza due to strong winds, and it rained most of day in Buzios. Overall we liked the ship having a comfortable balcony cabin, although the wardrobe space was a bit small. The ship was in good condition, but there were some ...

A great disappointment

The food in both the buffet and the dining rooms was marginal. The entertainment especially the guest entertainers were terrible with the exception of Guillermo Guido. The disembarkation in Buenos Aires was a disaster. People were pushing others out of the way, ramming others with their suitcases and cart . No direction from management. It took four hours to get off ship. The excursions with the ...
