We traveled from Sweden me and my husband. We arrived at Venice Airport. We were picked up by MCS and got a bus to the harbor. We were treated well and had to check in before we stepped on the ship. The bags took them and carried up to our room. As you boarded you were photographed by the security guard. Down in the cabin, one had to take his card to register with money on information deck in a ...

Amazing Ports of Call, Mediocre Ship

I surprised my wife with this cruise for our 10th anniversary after we talked about visiting Greece for this anniversary since last year. I chose this cruise based on the itinerary and the price for these great ports of call. The ports of call did not disappoint at all, whether it was Bari (go down to Polignano a Mare for a little bit while at this port), Mykonos (absolutely spectacular), ...

We chose this cruise for the ports. We didn’t know much about MSC and the reviews I read were mixed but the ports were where we wanted to go so off we went. Embarkation in Venice was very smooth and quite quick. We boarded the ship earlier than our allotted time and only had to wait about 40 minutes to get into our cabin. We were able to get drinks and use our drinks package straight away. We ate ...

I had read a lot on line about cruises so wasn't sure what we'd let ourselves in for. But we had an amazing time form start to finish. We did go for the Ausea package which gave us priority boarding, all inclusive drinks package, upper deck sun lounge, and more. The only thing we did find was that the MSC excussions were very exspenvise for what you got. There were plenty of good companies ...

A lot of sea, a little land

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Sinfonia

A great mix of destinations: Venice (which we had time to explore thoroughly before departure), Split, Santorini, Mykonos (or so we thought!), Dubrovnik (a long time bucket list destination) and little known Ancona/Urbino. On our way to Santorini, we were informed that strong wind was expected at Mykonos, and that we would spend more time at Santorini, but skip Mykonos, due to that - which meant ...

Amazing cruise!

I went on this cruise with my family and a friend and purely picked it because of wanting one from a specific date. Honestly an amazing cruise and experience overall. It was my first cruise so obviously I have nothing to compare it to but the friend that went had been on several top class cruises through his life and said it was the best one by far. The staff were great as they were helpful and ...

We had an absolutely great time in this cruise! One of the entertainers Amin was extremely kind and so much fun! He always greeted us on the ship which was nice and always lit a smile on our face. He also spoke Arabic which was really exciting because we couldn’t find anyone else on the wholeshio that spoke Arabic but him! He always made us laugh and ensure we had the best stay possible! The ...

Not so good Sinfonia

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Sinfonia

I will start by giving the positives. We had a balcony cabin which was quite adequate and kept clean by a lovely young man who did an excellant job. After the first night when the food and service was particularly poor we complained and on the whole things did improve although the food was at best just warm. Apart from the two waiters the rest of the serving staff were often miserable and seemed ...

Our May Family Holiday on MSC Poesia

MSC Poesia may 19th to may 26th embark in Venice. Well we got from the tiny Trevisa airport by taxi to a 2 star hotel in Mestre called Ariston. The taxi service was brilliant to hotel not so. Very old and run down in the middle of no where no restaurant. But sold bottles of champagne cheap. The same taxi service picked us up from hotel and dropped us right outside the cruise ship. It was ideal to ...
