Awesome ship with great destinations, but service was poor.

We choose MSC for the price & destinations and we werent dissappointed. We were however disappointed with some staff not being too friendly or helpful like other cruise lines. We did back to back cruises and we seen the difference between RCC and MSC staff. I think its a language barrier or skill set? Great size cabin and always clean, we did however have issues with the bed side lamp not tunring ...

Me and my husband have been on American cruise lines before (Carnival and Royal Carribean) and even thiugh we had our doubts about the MSC we decided to give it a try. Well the try was DISSAPOINTING! I will not ever take an MSC cruise again and giving the choice on the market would suggest the same for others. All the problems and poor service will mostly be noticed by big families and/ or ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Bellissima

Just back from a week on the Bellissima. It was amazing! 9 previous cruises with RC, first time with MSC and think we're converted. Positives: We were mainly converted thanks to the food, RC is very American, and as MSC is Italian it's obvious via the food which was just amazing! Even the buffet was 10/10. The homemade piazzas 24hrs a day are AMAZING, compared to Sorrentos in RC. Yes the ...

My family of four sailed in July out of Genoa. Embarking was easy and fast. Ship was beautiful, Immaculate , and easy to navigate. The staff were very friendly and courteous, the waiters were fantastic, our room steward was awesome , every employee on this ship was great . The food was good , there are more restaurants that you pay extra for than are included . I didn’t like the fact ...

Our first ever cruise with the family on MSC Bellissima. All 4 of us (two teen boys) gave it 10/10. We could not fault anything. We had a balcony room and it was spotless, as was the entire ship. Food was really good and the staff are really amazing, despite working long hours, etc. Always a smile on their faces. Malta was the highlight of the cruise, we will definitely return there. ...

My husband and I chose Bellissima for two reasons; a fantastic itinerary and the fact that the ship was brand new. As expected, the ports did not disappoint, however, the cruise experience left a lot to be desired. Truth is, we never really felt that we were guests on this cruise, but rather passengers, on a new and beautiful ferry. With passengers embarking and disembarking daily, calls for ...

Where to start? Embarkation and disembarkation were fairly smooth. No wow factor when boarding. Our cabin was fairly comfortable, but there was a lack of storage. Zoe, which was touted as the new best personal assistant was a waste of time. Didn't work once. We wasted far more time than necessary trying, unsuccessfuly, to get the system to change to English. Bed was comfortable. Food was average ...

We joined the cruise after 4 nights in Naples. Embarkation and disembarkation procedures were fine and pretty quick. The cruise had embarkation and disembarkation at each port so it was quite easy with staggered numbers. Cabins are lovely and fresh and quite spacious, even for an interior. The MSC Zoe assistant is useless though. Selection of TV channels is mostly news with very no English ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaview

We have sailed on the Seaside two previous times and had very good experiences. This time, things certainly changed ! Dining room dinners were substandard for sure, although our dining room staff were very nice and did a good job, doesn't make up for the food. Terrible selections and poor quality of entrees, the specialty restaurants were nothing short of perfect. We should not have to pay ...

Lovely cruise awful customer service

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Opera

The actual cruise with MSC was lovely but not sure I would be confident in booking with them again due to appalling customer service and organisation. Firstly MSC cancelled our cruise saying they would reimburse us for expenses in reorganising our holiday around the new cruise dates. In the end they refused to reinburse for all our out of pocket expenses. They only paid us for two nights non ...
