Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Bellissima

This was my first time being on a cruise and i can tell you it was a m a z i n g. I went there on a school trip with high school friends, there was about 60 of us. First of all, staff there is so welcoming and helpful. Lot of Entertainment. Food court is huge, feels like you’re in a mall. During dinner you can choose rather you want to eat in a restaurant or in buffet (food is free except for ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Preziosa

The Yacht Club is a brilliant concept, including both boarding and disembarking which is extremely well organised and we had 5 weeks previously on the MSC Virtuosa, where we had found the YC to be a completely self contained ship within a ship, this is not the same on the Preziosa. Let me first explain that both my wife and I both suffer from walking difficulties, we are both over 85 years of ...

Food well well below standard, disembarkation process Trieste a refuge nightmare. Never again

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Fantasia

We found a good deal and brought the extended family. The good: the ship is good enough, lots of cafes mostly closed when you need them. Staff overall good and helpful, some exceptions. Cabins are small and older looking. TV like a postage stamp with white noise. The bad: The buffet is like a crocodile feeding ground. Food mainly carbs and mostly poor in taste. Although the manager was very ...

1st time with MSC and we loved it. Great crossing and very fun staff.

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

We chose this cruise because as a retired couple it seemed like a new adventure to get back to the US. Embarcation took 1 hour and 10 minutes. The ship is a cross between Las Vegas and Star Trek. Lots of mirrors, glass and flash. The buffet food (we only went there 5 times) was very good and well-presented. The main dining rooms were elegant and service was great most of the time. MSC ...

A few flaws but wouldn't hesitate to book again

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaview

Embarkation was problematic and stressful with ground staff unwilling to let us check in because of an alleged problem with a passport (the problem was non-existent and was finally cleared up by immigration but not before we'd been forced to stand to one side of the queue for 30 mins in 35°C heat). Once on board, however, all was forgiven. All the glitter and glam you'd expect from MSC. Pools and ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaview

We boarded Seaview at Genoa for the 7 day Med cruise, visiting Naples, Sicily, Malta, Barcelona and Marseilles. Having previously cruised with MSC back in 2019 on Magnifica, we were keen to try them again as we had a very good experience back then, plus MSC were offering a hefty discount for NHS staff, and when I called to book, they also upgraded our drinks package. Embarkation in Genoa was ...

Relocation cruise Med to Northern Europe

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Grandiosa

Having been a frequent MSC cruiser in South Africa we chose this relocation cruise as the best bang for our bucks. Originally booked in 2019 we were yet another casualty of Covid with our cruise being cancelled repeatedly from 2020/21 and into 2022. At last we were allowed to cruise but under Covid restrictions and with PCR testing together with our vaccination certifications being required. I ...

Ridiculous Covid testing procedure before boarding created a strong negative impression…

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Grandiosa

The cruise was absolutely excellent in every way. The ship is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. However the testing requirement pre-boarding was a total mess. First of all MSC hadn’t made it clear that it was necessary to bring a negative Covid test (not older than 48 hours) to the check-in desk. So on arrival to the port we were sent to a nearby pharmacy to get our test certificate. ...

A Terrible Experience

Review for a South America Cruise on MSC Fantasia

Subject: Our experience on board the MSC Fantasia cruise ship. Embarkation in Genoa (Italy) on November 2, 2019, disembarkation November 20 2019 in Santos (Brazil). On November 2, 2019 we flew with the KLM to Milan. That went well. Then we drove a shuttle bus to Genoa, a journey of more than 2 hours. We had a cup of coffee on the plane around 10 a.m. and then nothing more. We did ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaside

We choose this cruise as a cruise to no where! MSC are currently only allowing passengers to get off the boat on organised excursions. With no chance of going off on your own. As a 4 star resort hotel the boat was great. However you currently need to pre book on the day jacuzzis (15 minute slots), this may have been because it was french school holidays and the boat was busy. I made sure I did ...
