Salty food but good service

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

Nice ship very impressive. House about 7500 guest. We picked this cruise because we thought it would be more convenient for our transportation which is the case; and timing is about right even though I preferred it to be 5-6days trip which they could totally get it done my opinion and base on my observations. (On the way back from Bahamas, because of a medical emergency we had about 6 hrs to ...

MSC = might seem cheap

I was invited by a friend who was celebrating the birthday of a friend/group trip. It was a long wait to board and we had to go down 4 flights of stairs from deck 7’s Broadway Theater to exit on deck 5. Be sure to have breakfast and either travel light or check your carry on. People where struggling with a carry on, purse, shopping bags , etc because they forgot that there was no elevator service ...

Disappointing family trip

The ship was modern and clean. There was a long wait at security to board. Once past security, it was a super fast check-in and we got right on the ship. We had 10 family members, ages 75 down to infant age 2. We prepurchased the dining specialty package. As soon as we got on the ship we had to wait over an hour to make reservations. It was difficult making reservations for a large group. We ...

Stunning Ship, friendly Staff

Our family cruises out of NY on a regular basis with friends. We were hesitant to book with MSC after reading these reviews. Out of the other cruise lines out of NY, this was the cleanest ship with the friendliest workers. From the moment we walked into the Brooklyn port, each and every worker acknowledged us with a smile. Workers tried to connect with each and every member of our party. ...

WORST CRUISE EVER: In 2019 I had a wonderful 2 week cruise aboard MSC Meraviglia so it is without any fear that we are booking another one week cruise to Bahamas aboard MSC Meraviglia from July 23 to 30, 2023 we are a group of 10 and a 20 month old baby. Our trip begins with a check in which lasted 3 hours for some reason we were made to wait all this time standing in the terminal. I get to ...

Customer Service and food selection.

I will start with the ship embarkation. 7/23/23 from New York terminal, it took us nearly 3 hours to get in the ship. Claiming that the system is down. Second, there are lines everywhere on the ship. Daily during breakfast, there are non-ending lines that you could spend 20 minutes to get your breakfast. The food selection was not that good. There were no omlete station during breakfast. The ...

We had the privilege of sailing on the MSC Meraviglia from July 23rd - 30th 2023 from Brooklyn, NY to FL/Bahamas on a seven day itinerary. Our family (two adults, two kids between 10-12) we were part of a larger group of 30. Note: This cruise was full, so there were over 7K people including staff. We were not part of any clubs, i.e. Yacht, etc., just standard accommodations. We did have ...

Ive been with other cruise lines in the past. Most nothing to talk about. I read all the bad reviews about MSC and how it came in very low overall cruise ratings. And although I could find a few things that need changing, this trip was superb. I would beg you to ignore the bad ratings online. Crew, embarkation/ disembarkation, food , activities, state room services all absolutely impeccable. I ...

MSC 4 LIFE!

Loved Butchers cut! The tacos were amazing also and I need to go back for the Sushi! The only restaurant I thought could do a bit better with the menu was Ocean Cay. I thought there would be better seafood options, but we could always go to our designated restaurant or the buffet which suited every possible craving! The service was top notch and without fail our room was kept Spotless! Oh, ...

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT! We booked an MSC cruise in May for July and were somewhat hesitant with reviews. I can't say enough, how AMAZING the cruise was for our party of 13. We went as a family, grandparents/parents/kids and it didn't disappoint in any way. We had an amazing week including food/drinks and entertainment. The private island is a MUST SEE. The staff were incredible and customer ...
