This was our second MSC cruise after trying out the line on the Meraviglia last December out of Canaveral. We actually really enjoyed that ship, it was beautiful. We also really liked the private island, so when I saw another 3 night to the island on the Divina out of Miami, we said what the heck, let’s give it a go. We got a great price on an ocean view room and received a free upgrade to a ...
Very smooth experience priority boarding in terminal.
I had booked two suites and the Aurea experience, so we had a nice check in.
It ended there as there was a long queue and wait for the tender.
Apparently, the boat was late arriving and therefore late disembarking.
These things happen but we weren't informed and had to sit freezing on the tender for over two hours and felt very ...
The MSC Armonia is old and tired. Smoking is allowed in the casino and outside at designated smoking areas. Doesn’t make the ship smell very nice. The tendering process for embarking was not explained beforehand and is extremely slow. Service is awful in the restaurants as well as the quality of food. The only reason we picked this specific cruise/company was the travel dates. Bed sheets were ...
If you have Cruised with Royal Caribbean dont bother wasting your money cruising with MSC. We took a cruise to relax on 4/2 to 4/9 to Western Caribbean. MSC bills itself as a family friendly cruise lines
Relaxation we did not get!
1) To get the girls (16yrs old) Non-Alcoholic package with frozen fruity drinks and latte's, bottled water and softserve ice cream. They had to go to the adult ...
It was so fun I met so many people, our waiter in the main dining room Eduardo was great with a wonderful personality. The bars the bars were amazing. Lots of things to do. The party’s were really fun , especially the silent party they played really good songs for all ages. The specialty restaurants were really nice as well . I really enjoyed the hibachi restaurant. The have wonderful deserts , ...
I enjoyed my cruise tremendously!
I have sailed with Royal and Carnival before, and I really feel like this trip was on par with those experiences.
The ship was beautiful, it felt very premium. The modern luxurious feel of the decor was lovely.
The Edge bar was a standout location, it had great energy and wonderful bartenders. I also enjoyed the views from the Sky Lounge and spent ...
We are long-time cruisers and decided to take a cruise from Montevideo, Uruguay, South America to Athens. A 24 day one, longer than our usual but the price was very, very low and visited 4 countries we had never been to. The itinerary was great, and stops were largely fascinating and enjoyable. Not so our cruise ship the MSC Musica.
We boarded in Montevideo and had to stand in line (yes ...
I cruised with my significant other and 1 other couple. We were celebrating one of our 40th birthdays. The other 3 have not cruised before. Here is my take away & Happy to answer any questions that I didn't cover:
Port Canaveral: Upon arrival around 10:30am on Sunday we needed to ask for directions. No where in our ticket packet from MSC did it mention which terminal we were to go to. Yes the ...
we chose this cruise at last minute - the ship itself was clean and well run however the meals at the buffet wasnt hot and not a lot of choice. the restaurant meals were ok but nothing exciting as the menu was a bit much the same most nights.
we booked an outside cabin with restricted view OMG we couldn't see outside the window at all, not even the sky as a life boat was hard up against the ...
I normally don’t leave reviews but after reading so many bad reviews of this ship I felt like I needed to add a good one. Overall, this was a great cruise. The ship is very nice, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I had a great week spending time with friends and relaxing. If you’re not a fussy traveler and you’re looking for a good value, this is the cruise for ...
