The visit to the Kum Quat Factory had plenty of free wine samples but no samples of the many treats at the store. I bought a few things and the "Nougat with Almonds & Koum Quat pieces" was the best! Then a scenic drive to Palaiokastritsa bay which had shops selling nice clothing and canvas bags, besides yummy treats. I could walk barefoot in the water and search for pretty stones too. However, no visit to the monastery which was mentioned in the tour info. We had a great photo op at Lakones villages and then hearty free snacks and wine at Makrades, which had tons of souvenir shops with many olive oil soaps, lacework, woodworks and other irresistible goodies.

I think by doing this excursion in Corfu, I wasn't fully able to see the beauty of what Corfu has to offer. There was not many scenic views on this tour, only a view of the water for a short stop for lunch.

After the major site visits, ending up in the beautiful garden of a famous restaurant, Spiros & Vasilis, with sumptuous local culinary, was FANTASTIC! The restaurant is located in St.John, 8km from Corfu. In addition, local band provided music and entertainment, elevating the experience even further! I highly recommend this restaurant.
