You really need several days in the old city of Jerusalem to really get the full experience. It was a very fast and only partial tour of the Old Town, doing about half of the Via Delorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre; Garden of Gethsemane and a truncated visit to the Church of the Nativity.

At times the guide gives too much detailed information in a short space of time. Difficult to take all in and keep up with all the 'sites'. It all tended to be too rushed and commercial especially with the crowds. Can't be helped I know.

This was a wonderful tour and our tour guide was kind enough to pick us up at the crack of dawn to get us to Bethlehem and Jerusalem since the ship changed its itinerary at the last. We loved every minute of this and it is the reason we took the cruise. We got to see everything on our list and it was cheaper than any ship excursion.
