Key West Beach Break Excursion Reviews

I must preface that this a $2.50 per person tour so you can't expect much- more by car. AND this is a state park. I was trying to find a low cost because we had been to this port before and wanted to experience something different. The walk to the entrance is about 20 - 25 minutes depending on ability. After you reach the entrance you have about another 10 minute walk to the beach. You will reach the Fort first and you can use the restrooms, get a soft drink or water, and tour the Fort. The beach is right next to it. There is also a trail in between the beach and Fort. It did not say where it went:) So we did not take it! The beach is VERY rocky and a little trashy. I had water shoes on and stepped on a rusted nail. So if you go, wear tennis shoes until you get to the sand. It also had a foul smell so we didn't stay long. However, we got some exercise in!
