This excursion was very highly rated on tripadvisor.com and although we had a pretty good time we were a bit disappointed because of the quality of stops along the way. Most of the stops were simply too long and we felt like we could have seen more of what Dominica had to offer. Woody is very personable, perhaps a bit too loose and familiar with his guests. One in our group noted his second driver consuming several glasses of wine at the snack stop and that was unsettling. We mentioned this to Woody and his concern became elevated and he spoke with the driver. The driver has been a long time employee and Woody trusted the driver.

We took a jeep tour - but be warned, they are MANUAL transmissions! If you don't know how to drive a manual vehicle, they will put you in the back of a jeep with someone else driving. Make sure you have your driver's license! The jeeps looks worn - some of the seat-belts don't work. We drove to a local fruit stand where we were given a lesson on coconut, bananas and coffee. We drove to another area where we walked to a waterfalls. The walk is tricky - have to walk on top of sandbags through streams - but we all did have a great time. We were running late and if you book through Royal Caribbean, the ship will wait for you!
