Puerto Vallarta Rhythms of the Night Excursion Reviews
An evening like no other, Rhythms of the Night provides the perfect mix of elegant food, beautiful scenery, and a captivating performance. This is a night that will not be soon forgotten.
This is a must do Excursion! Truly worth every bit of $$. A fun Booze Cruise with music & dancing to the Show & Amazingly fresh and tender Buffet Dinner, followed by a Sunset Cruise & Crew Member Show back to the Cruise Ship.
Short boat ride with an open bar and snacks to the island. Show was entertaining. Dinner was buffet style, set on the beach, open bar, not-authentic Mexican food. Boat crew put on a funny show on the way back to the pier.
Absolutely fantastic! Best Christmas I have ever had, because of this evening. Went solo and was a little nervous about what to expect as the description was brief. Could not believe how beautiful and memorable this experience was, all for $99! I would recommend doing this at night if you are a couple or solo, depending on what you are looking for. Dining at a small table on the sand next to the waves, under the moon and stars, only lit by candlelight and torches, with fantastic food and entertainment in a fantasy atmosphere- wow! The darkness made it unclear where we were in relation to PV, and as we approached Las Caletas lit only by candles and torches, the mystery began. The catamaran ride over and back was fantastic and funny, plenty of entertainment by staff.
On the night of our Rhythms of the Night dinner and show we received a downpour of rain. I gotta say, even with the rain the night was still special. Great food and a shortened show did not disappoint. Also, a fun boat ride too and back to our ship. This is a great excursion!
Since reading about tour bus being robbed week before at Puetro Vallarta, we cancelled Canopy Adventure before flying to Long Beach. Thank you Cruise Critic for getting the word out. We walked over to Walmart and looked around bought cookies and crackers for our room stewards. Knowing crew would be able to leave ship at Puerto Vallarta, my wife and I slipped our wait and room staff some money to help them purchase items ashore. We booked a 3:30PM tour with Carnival. Reason for this was Catamaran left right by ship and proceeded to Las Caletas. Free drinks flowed to Las Caletas. Place was a tropical paradise. Great food, drinks, and show. On our boat trip back, the crew put on a skit and got everyone involved. Took every one's mind off the bumpy ride back. Beautiful night, stars shining and a almost full moon. Everyone on Carnival Splendor was outside on deck waving to us as we came by the ship to depart at the dock. Quite an adventure, would do it again in a heartbeat!
