Home of the great Shamu, SeaWorld, about 45 miles from Port Canaveral, offers a multitude of marine attractions and shows and is especially fun for family travelers.

Sea World is losing it - had been years ago and it has lost it's appeal - not clean - people not very helpful at all and the Penguin "ride" is a farce - do not stand in line for it!!!!! Fed the stingrays and they mobbed my hands like they were starving. I hope Sea World feeds them because it did not look like it to me. This may be normal - I do not know - but was upsetting. Some animals mob anytime there is food.

It wasn't overly crowded. It has good attractions and two amazing roller-coasters.

Sea World was fine. The Shamu show and dolphin shows were great. But I found it over priced for what we received. There are only two roller coasters and the line for each was over an hour long. We rented a car from Enterprise and drove to and front Sea World ourselves, and bought the tickets online with a discount coupon - overall spent $294 ($220 on tickets, $59 on rental car, $15 on gas for rental car), a $114 savings over booking with the cruise line.

Sea World is always a nice place to visit, but as usual in Florida it was brutally hot and humid. It is about an hour each way from the ship, so it doesn't leave that much time to see everything, but when it was as hot as it was, they were ready to go back to the ship.

Purchased the transfer from the ship to Sea World through the cruise and it was worth it. Nice buses, air conditioned, and the rep from the company stayed at the park all day in case of problems. Sea World was good, but not enough exhibits.. mostly shows... but the kids had a great time and boy were we tired!
