Poor and very uncomfortable open air bus. The bus stopped too far from entrances to sights so we just took the ride. Not interesting.

We paid $35 each that included 3 lines. Pink, red and green lines. Red and green we're just ok. The pink line was terrible. No narative. Do not waste your money. Worst Hop on Hop off bus tour yet and the most expensive we've ever taken.

Great drive along coast. Had a little giggle at the officious "uncle" lining eneryone up on the benches before boarding the trolley.

Did the 2,5 hrs coast blue line but wasn't worth the money. So much wind made it very unpleasant. Not much to see other than rocks and some guiding in the city.

Wasn't planning to but they had a desk inside the terminal and the price was right. Didn't really get off anywhere but the driver was friendly and knowledgeble and did stop a few time on the sightseeing portion so people could take pictures -even took some for them so their whole group could be included. The other portion I took was the history one - again a good guide.

If Hilo was a disorganised underwhelming disappointment, this place could not possibly be more different. Well organised. Professional, helpful people and a brilliant sight seeing tour on the hop on hop off open bus. Excellent driver/tour guide. Really knew his stuff. Plenty to see and do. Great shopping as well. Highly recommend. Would love to go back.

I use Gray Line's hop-on/off service just about everywhere I go. They always do a great job. It's economical (especially if you buy through Groupon like I did for this trip) and it's convenient. The bus stopped right in front of my hotel. We made stops at all of the interesting places in Honolulu, and also toured around Diamond Head. The people who worked the buses, especially the wonderful Auntie who sold tickets in front of the Duke statue, were all really friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommended.

We were in Honolulu overnight. The trolley fare was $34 each and that gave us full access to all three of their lines for the two days. It was so simple to hop on right at the pier and go where ever we wanted. They don't mention that they make special stops when the ships are in port at the piers but they do. We were so pleased that we did this and the staff and drivers of the Hop On Hop Off Trolley company are unbelievable. They are hilarious, pleasant, knowledgeable, friendly and from what we could see bilingual in Japanese and English. It made all the tours so interesting.

The Hop-on-Hop-Off Trolley was a nice way to view Waikiki, but it took us a while to find it. The ship's excursion desk had no information about where to locate them on the pier, and there was nothing printed on the excursion ticket. It would be nice if the Trolley ran later, with the longer days -- they only run until shortly after 5pm. As it was, we barely had time to see Diamond Head, and make the last trolley connection back to the ship.
