Hop on a bike and get ready for a fun afternoon with a trip to Montmorency Falls. At 275 feet this impressive waterfall is the tallest in Quebec.
An awful trip on bicycle alongside the highway and waste management plants, plus tawdry motels thrown into the mix. The bus never showed up to take us back to the ship. We had to walk to the Explorer of the Seas and take one of her busses.
Pass on this one.

We boarded a shuttle bus who took us to the bicycle shop and they outfitted us with bikes and helmets. It was a little chilly and they had gloves that we could use as well. The tour description said it was an easy 9 mile ride. We found that this is a little misleading it is actually 9 miles ONE WAY. The wind was in our faces on the way to the falls and there was times it was extremely difficult to pedal. Once we arrived at the falls we took a gondola to the top of the falls. We were given a little time to walk around. The falls were beautiful.
The ride home was easier since the wind was on our backs. Once we got back to the shop and were given an apple and water. We found that there was no bus to take us back to the ship and so our guide walked us back to the ship which was about a one mile walk.
