Experience a memorable walking tour in one of the oldest communities in the United States. The beautiful architecture of the French Quarter will leave you breathless.

We spent 3 days in New Orleans following our cruise. During spring break, Bourbon street was a zoo, an embarrassment to the city that is tolerated because of the tourist draw. The best place to visit is Frenchmen steet, with eclectic bars that actually play Jazz. It is where the locals go and should not be missed. We took 3 walking tours (ghost, French Quarter, and Garden District) with an outfit that did not charge for the tour (pay what you want when the tour is over) and found them all to be informative and quite enjoyable.

French Quarter was interesting. Our guide was disinterested and disorganized, she lost half of our group, provided very little information. Typically poor performance by Azamara land partner.

We stayed before and after our Cruise, so enjoyed several activities on our own.
