It was a lovely experience. They had a man playing a fiddle and a guitar of melodies from that area. We really enjoyed it and could definitely recommend it.

The Canadian Tall Ship Sailing Experience toured the Halifax harbor in the afternoon. We were lucky to have gorgeous weather, breezy and sunny. I paired it with walking tour in the morning, which made a nice combination. The harbor tour included some narration about the area, but overall it was a much more relaxing excursion. It was fun to watch the sails unfurl and just enjoy the scenery and the experience. Our two deckhands were very personable and spent time chatting with the passengers and answering questions. Note: there was about a fifteen-minute walk down the boardwalk to and from the ship terminal to the boat. It was not difficult at all unless there are issues with mobility.

This was a nice experience sailing in the harbor, although not a vigorous sail. While they set the sails, they never turned off the engine. Great harbor views, though.

We contracted to sail on the Tall Ship Silva while in port. We went under sail and were able to help hoist the sails. The sold refreshments including adult beverages below deck. I would definitely recommend this.
