Great, I would do it again. Not an option to enjoy sea life that I've seen before. Pretty standard excursion, sell you some pictures, give you a sub par buffet. Still glad we did it. That said, the experience with Carnival's Price Match Guarantee was very disappointing. They are set up with a company that offers the same tour for half price to those in hotels, but specifically disclaims cruise passengers. Carnival deemed it 'not substantially the same' upon multiple requests prior to or trip.

Bus was late (almost 30mn), show interesting but everything is scripted and controlled by the trainers. The "lagoon" as presented in the brochure is in fact a small pool with two shallow end where visitors stand waist-deep. No camera allowed, be prepared to a sticker shock when you want to buy some. Lunch was shortened as the return bus came earlier!

omg, sea lion!!! hugging me! and smiling at me! what else do I have to say? oh by the way, this is the only shore excursion we took with Carnival. cause the vendor said Carnival has contract with them, we cannot book directly with them, we had to book through carnival. Of course it was expensive, but then it was also the only tour that we didn't have to worry about anything, like rushing the time, running to port, cause Carnival basically took care of the entire tour right off the ship.
