We had a night on the ship in Singapore before we disembarked, and took a taxi into Chinatown, and the markets. After leaving the ship, we had 3 nights in the Orchard Hotel, and had fun in Singapore.

A beautiful, and clean city with many different areas to visit. A local hop-on/hop-off bus makes over-view of all of the city possible in one day, but not enough time to spend very long in one place. You need at least two or three days to have more time for the individual areas. If you want in-expensive souvenirs, china town in the place to go. Bus takes you down Orchard Rd. and you can get off to shop.
