Embark on a journey of Malaysia's capital, Kuala Lumpur, the largest city in the nation with a blend of old and new architectural masterpieces.

We loved the Bird Park and Orchid garden, but not nearly enough time was allocated. Lunch at the 5 stat hotel was delicious. Independence Square was a waste of time because after traffic hopping on foot in searing heat we couldn't hear one thing the tour guide said. We had 15 minutes at the market instead of the advertised 1 hour.

rained..did photo stop of large blue mosque. couldnt see towers. saw a national war memorial area which was nice. stopped for 15 minutes only at a smelly market waste of a trip. Dont have much of an impression of KL but it must be nice. Lots of people visit, so there must be other interesting places.

Well planned Shore excursion. However, little evening (after dusk) at KL Twin Tower, with additional 15 minutes more there, is required to view the KL Twin Towers in night lightings.

You dock at a purpose built cruise terminal and there is nothing there so you need a trip, taxi or shuttle service. However the shuttle only went to a shopping mall. Our trip A Glimse of KL gave us a good overview of the place and several stops for photo opportunities. Whilst stall holders would accept Us dollars and euros you need local currency to use the public toliets here.
