Didn't expect this to be such a personal tour but was brilliant. Had a fantastic tour guide Geoff who took us in his own 4WD and he was quite crazy and fun. I appreciated being in his vehicle as the other 2 4WD's had tourists sitting on a side bench in back of vehicle whereas we just sat facing front as you would in a normal vehicle. I have issues with my neck and I would never have been able to go up and down that rocky countryside sideways and the views would have been horrible having to look through other people to see out. We had quite a few stops along the way, saw a deer farm, a castle, two photo opportunities at lookouts 300 and 500 metres above sea level. Grabbed some myrtle leaves for our cups of tea and muffins we had later on for morning tea on the beach and the best thing of all got to see at least a dozen seals. Geoff said that wasn't many for that time of day or year but we were very impressed. Got a lot closer than we thought we would have but they are very hard to find at first. Had a crazy fly along the beach in Geoff's 4WD on return in and out of water holes and couldn't have asked for a better trip.
