Spend the day at Australia Zoo, home of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, to get up close and personal with snakes, beautiful birds, tortoises and, of course, some Brisbane crocodiles.

Most of the enclosures for the birds were too small, however, it was nice to see the kangaroos and emus running free
