We were ported in Lahaina, so we did not see the big resort side of Maui. However we were driven through the Iao Valley and to the Maui Tropical Plantation(farm). The tour was excellent and gave us a little time to walk around the port area. The banyon tree there is unreal. We also enjoyed eating at the Burger King. We also booked and independent whale watching excursion which turned out to be the highlight of the entire trip. There were whales everywhere. It was just unbelieveable - No, you may see a whale from the ship, but not like on the excursion.
