We drove through Old Town before the tourist shops opened. We drove all around Rhodes and saw, among other things, the original Olympic Stadium. We went to see the Acropolis and had lunch at a small restaurant. All in all, we were sad about all the empty businesses in Rhodes.

The guide actually drove us all around Rhodes before taking us to the old town, the grandmaster's palace was breathtaking and the shops were fun!

This UNESCO site could be visited for days without seeing it all! Great photo opportunities.

Amazing tour guide who was very well informed and loved sharing his knowledge. Another beautiful island with lots of olive trees, goats and incredible blue seas, and great olives at Timi's Place

Our tour included Lindos, lunch at a wonderful 5 star hotel, Rhodes walking tour and the Grand Masters Palace. Everything about this tour was first class. Loved our guide and loved Rhodes.

Very cool - the palace was as sumptuous as you'd expect a medieval castle to be, though the Street of Knights was slightly underwhelming. It was nice to be in a place of such importance during the Crusades, though I've never understood the need for a Crusade in the first place. It was indeed, a Grand Palace, and should not be missed!

We enjoyed Rhodes / Lindos. Our tour guide was excellent. He took us to all of the important historic sites in Rhodes and gave us plenty of free time to take photos. We then went on to Lindos. Beautiful area. Saw the famous beaches, went to a winery, a pottery business, fun shopping, and ate a traditional Greek meal in a seaside restaurant (we had the local lamb -- outstanding).

Crowded, and virtually set up for tourists and consequently lost most of its charm

The tour we did included a trip to a monastery with great views over Rhodes countryside and coast - well worth doing. The a tour of Rhodes old town, including the Grand Master Palace. Great mosaics in many rooms and interesting history to listen to. Rhodes town you can do on your own - no need to do a tour, just walk around - it is quite small and the city walls make it clear where the town begins and ends. Port is close to the city and you get great views sailing in and out, and from the docked ship if no other boats in the way!!
