Sylvie took us to visit three french hill towns. Getting away from the tourist traps and seeing how the locals live was a great experience. We had some great pastry as well

It is easy to tour this country independently but we took the tour. We found it helpful as our guide informed us that the palace has a wing which is tourable, and told us where to find the graves of Princess Grace and Prince Albert. We also got a ride over to the Grand Casino which was closed but we were able to see the outside and look at the fabulous cars parked near the casino.

We tendered directly opposite the Monte Carlo Casino, and then took a bus to Nice. We walked on the boardwalk, into the town for about 1hour. Then we bus rode to Eze, a fisherman's village about halfway to heaven. The rides were both beautiful, and we were very impressed with the beauty and cleanliness of the French Riviera, and would love to return. My wife fell in love with Eze, it is really worth the ride to get to it, only wish we had more than a hour to explore. The visit to Monaco was interesting, and we did a tour of the Principality's Palace, and it was so worth it. The visit to Monte Carlo Casino is limited to the entry foyer rooms, and that is sufficient. The waterside of the casino is most impressive, and we did this on our own self guided walking tour. Overall the tour was a 5.
