Went to the Cathedral and where St. Paul was imprisoned. The catacombs were also very interesting.

Joan made all the difference - art lover helped explain the Caravaggio oils and as a licensed guide offered an excellent historical overview of the Cathedral up through the bombing by the Nazis

Fantastic guide with a good knowledge of subject. Coach arrangements well managed by guide. Not enough time as usual but a lovely tour. Would repeat. Weather cool, which helped. Good photo opportunities.

The ship was welcomed by a band on the docks which was fun. We went with CC companions on a privately organised tour which covered quite a bit of the island. It is an interesting place with churches, fishing villages etc. Definitely not "touristy". (facilities such as public toilets need attention). Lots of sandstone walls etc. Medieval village of Mdina very interesting and attractive.
