London (Tilbury) Thames River Cruise Excursion Reviews
Tour the Thames, a fun and unique way to sail to all of the best London destinations.
Having been to London several times, we did a river cruise from Greenwich pier down to the Eye and back. It's a great way to see the sights in London at a very reasonable price. You can get off and visit individual sights, most of which are only a short walk from the piers, then climb back on the next boat. Don't misses for visiting are the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and a country pub (not one in London). Oh, and don't forget a ride on the Tube if you've never done so.Read krandco's full Azamara Journey cruise review

It was difficult to hear the river guide because of several non-English speaking passengers (not from our ship) who spoke loudly to each other throughout the tour. I was also dismayed at the lost time when the boat was parked for 15-20 minutes under Big Ben (across from the London Eye) while letting off and picking up other passengers, following which it crossed the Thames and let us off at the London Eye. It would have been more interesting to have been given the option of getting off the boat at that point and cross the bridge on foot to reach the London Eye. The London Eye provided good views and was a nice option given our limited time in London but it would have been nice to have a guide explaining what we were seeing.Read Bonica Rose's full Prinsendam cruise review
