The Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, had to be rebuilt three times before its eventual and permanent destruction.

This is kind of a funny place because there is only one column left but you can see the Christian church and a mosque in the background. It was pretty but you only need about 5 min. here.

When we stopped at the Temple of Artemis, it was so sad to see what used to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World had only 1½ columns left. DH stood in front of the half column to show how big the column base was.

Very professional tour guide and driver, met us on time and delivered us back to the ship with plenty of time to spare before departing. Our guide was very knowledgeable on all thing to do with Ephesus, also included a buffet lunch for the tour price. Highly recommended.
