I travelled on P&O for first time and selected the ship Ventura.
This was my first mistake, the ship has no wow factor like I've experienced with other brands.
My biggest mistake was choosing P&O as their staff in Bars and Restaurants simply don't seem to care.

The ship was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very pleasant, and the customer service was outstanding. The spa was incredibly difficult to get an appointment in with their limited staff. The two exclusive restaurants were only easily accessible to those that had larger suites. Oh, how we wanted to love our first Viking cruise! All the advertising and all our friends and family said Viking’s the best, with all-balcony staterooms, a truly all-inclusive program, no one under 18 and lectures instead of casinos.

Had a Balcony room on the 14th floor The Balcony had some serious rust issues to make it quite unappealing to sit outside.
But when you get to a port and look at the rest of the ship, it's understood why, there is quite a bit of Rust showing thru..... while other cruise lines do painting maintenance while in port, never saw any NCL personnel with even a paint rush.

I travel on NCL quite a bit but the Epic was horrific. Did a B2B cruise Jan-28-2024 through 3-11-2024. LONG LONG LINES everywhere, whether dining, bars, venues.
