Simply Spectacular! Well Done Virgin Voyages

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Resilient Lady

Embarking on our first-ever cruise with Virgin Voyages aboard the Resilient Lady, my expectations were high, but what I experienced exceeded even those lofty standards. Let me start by saying, "WOW!" Virgin Voyages has set a new benchmark for cruising, and I can't help but sing its praises. 1. Email Communication: From the moment we booked our cruise, Virgin Voyages impressed us with timely and ...

Extremely disappointed!

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Resilient Lady

The hype about this ship led us to believe that we had chosen the perfect cruise. We were extremely disappointed in everything - cabin, food, and entertainment, the App. The best things were the pizza bar and ice creamery. The cabin was tiny with cheap IKEA looking furniture. The RH side of the bed, had a large drawer (part of the sofa reconfiguration) but it made it a challenge getting out ...

I had great expectations before cruising with virgin resilient lady. now i would never choose to cruise with virgin again. The absolutely "not user friendly"app that had to be used to make reservations at every restaurant for meals was a nightmare. i couldn't change my booking if i needed to add another person without losing the time i had booked i.e. If i booked for 6:30pm for 4 people and ...

PRINCESS STANDARDS ARE SLIPPING

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Majestic Princess

We chose this cruise to use up some cruise credits after contracting Covid on a 21night Mediterranean cruise in 2023 and being isolated for a week. As we were in Sydney for other reasons, it was opportune to incorporate the cruise as well. Embarkation and Disembarkation were both quick and seamless. Despite having the required Princess profile photos, security are insistent on taking another ...

Fantastic ship with a crew that made us feel valued

This was our first cruise on the Majestic after other cruises on various Princess ships. We loved that you could hardly feel any movement as the ship was so large. Our room was further to the front. Jamie’s band were absolutely amazing and had the passengers rocking. We spent most of our nights on the dance floor, which was on level 5 near the Vibes Bar. The team there were always busy but ...

Celebrity edge cruise

I was very excited to cruise on the Edge, I had read all the celebrity promo and it looked fabulous. We had an internal room deck 11, this was very nice nothing to complain about. The drinks packages and Wi- fi packages are extortionate. I did feel that Celebrity are trying to extract every extra dollar that can from you. The excursion's are something you do not want to go near as they are ...

Nice ship but boring; and do the math

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Celebrity Edge

We've taken 4 Celebrity cruises, 2 in the last 6 months, but probably won't take anymore. Beautiful ships, good food and great service but BORING. I'm not sure they have the right target audience (we're in our late 60's). For example, very talented musicians play easy-listening playlists. Look at the audience; they are playing cards! Another example: they have crafts during the day but ...

Ok but spoilt by 3 issues.

The ship is lovely and the food is excellent . The entertainment was good and the staff are good. BUT, our day in Bay of Islands was ruined by poor tender arrangements waiting 4 hours to get off the ship, 1 hour to get back on and we missed our shore excursion. Also some ports the time was too short. Also NO drinking water in the cabins. These 3 points did spoil our opinion of Celebrity. ...

The Edge is a beautifuly styled ship with some amazing features but it's not for me. We had a sunset balcony cabin on deck 9 it was huge with sofa and the balcony was huge with 2 chairs, table and 1 sun louger looked after by our cabin steward Karen. We did't have a kettle in the room but we asked Karen and she got us one. The food on board was vey good in all the main restaurants the ...

Sad Ending

My experience started off very well but began to wain at the end. My wife and I were not met at the airport by one RC staff but by three for an individual transport to the ship's terminal. Boarding had no exceptional delays. We retrieved our luggage ourselves from the stewards area as it had not been placed for us at the designated time. We had been in the same clothes for 28 hours and needed a ...
