Warnemunde is a pleasant seaside resort with upmarket shops and restaurants and a fine sandy beach next to a wide promenade area. The weather was so good we got to paddle in the sea! The ship berths into the centre of Warnemunde, which is a beautiful sea side town & well worth a visit. There are many shops & restaurants as you would expect in a holiday reort. There are many ships travelling up & down the river & you can easiy have a trip on a tourist boat. This port is near to Rostock which is also a beautiful town & well worth a visit too. ...

We took European rail from Berlin to get to port. Trains were cancelled. We were rerouted 4 tines dragging heavy suitcases. I really recommend getting on at Copenhagen. ...
