the flowers at the Empress were just about the happiest flowers I think I've ever seen. had what seemed like a more authentic (not to mention delicious) Japanese lunch than normal at Gozen. the weather changed several times in just a few hours. got some prince Charles tea at murchie's. I could just stand in front of the empress for hours and watch the harbor. ...

We live between Seattle and Victoria so we've been there a few times. It was disappointing that we had to take a shuttle or a cab to see the best parts of Victoria. There was nothing to see or do near the ship without spending money. ...

We walked from the port to downtown, which takes about 15 or 20 minutes. It's a really pretty town, lots of places to see, dine, shop, etc. ...

Independently arranged tour of Victoria which was lovely, especially given some rain. Were able to see some gardens and view sights and 'do' Victoria more than we had in two previous visits. Unfortunately the timing of the cruise arrival and departure did not allow another visit to Buchardt Gardens or participation in High Tea at The Empress. ...

We wandered around town, but this port stop occurs so late in the day that most everything is closed right after our arrival. Such a disappointment that we only had 4 hours here. The light of the city were beautiful! I will need to go back when I can see and do more! ...

As we would have missed dinner if we had left the ship at 5:45PM (a thing we did not want to do as we LOVED our dinners at the Blu) we were only in Victoria from 7:30 - 10:30 PM. We did see beautifully lit buildings and harbors. However, we only had time to see a tiny portion of the city. I wish we could have seen the city during daylight hours and for a bit longer that a few hours. ...
