Oh gosh, was a nice clean town. We took a pedicab tour here and loved it. It was 2 hours long and it was our own private little tour. You can find them when you get off the ship at the end of the pier. ...

We had a long day in Victoria. There were paid shuttle buses and pedicabs available, but we opted to walk 30 minutes to the downtown part of the city. On the way, we passed Fishermen's Wharf, a very cute little area with floating houses and businesses. A great place to get a beer, ice cream, or meal. In the downtown, we did a self-guided tour of the Parliament building, but free guided tours were ...

3 hour port call???? Why bother? There was a huge line for buses to take you 1 mile into town and it looked like they were charging you for the ride! We walked so that ate up more time in port. Waste of time. ...

We docked at 8pm and it got dark around 9:30pm. It was a bit of a wasted day. A good number of passengers did not exit the boat. The Butchart gardens are a 40 min shuttle drive from port each direction but are very pretty. ...

Our schedule port time in Victoria was suppose to be 6AM to 12PM but it was reduced to 6AM to 11:30. Realistically this allow 2 hrs. ashore allowing, 9AM to 11AM with 30mins to get back to the ship. This was a wasted stop and charge of port fees and taxes to the passengers. Poor planning on Princess's part. As we were leaving Oceania was arriving. ...

Victoria British Columbia looks like it might be a beautiful city. Unfortunately we arrived at dark and were there about 3 hours total (ship was late getting access). We ended up just doing their planetarium visit because by 9pm it was dark and cold. It was operated by some amazing young adults - smart and interesting to listen to - so we enjoyed it even though it's a very small operation. ...

One reason we selected this cruise is because it stopping in Victoria from 12 until 8. There is a shuttle that will take you into the city for a nominal price. We flagged a cab and had them drive us to Buchart Gardens. Takes about an hour and costs $60 US. We stayed for 3 hours and there were cabs right outside that we took back. So much cheaper than the cruise tour and with having 8 hours, ...

Due to research, I understand why this port is included, but is barely adequate in timing to get on and off the ship. It is what is advertised on the itinerary, but still just seems like such a waste. ...
