We decided to go to Tampa two days early and enjoyed our visit to st Petersburg and walking around Tampa ...

We went ashore at Cozumel and did some shopping at Punta Langosta. It is a very nice shopping Center with two floors accessed by automatic escalators. Some of the more up-scale Stores are air-conditioned. This shopping Center is adjacent to the Pier where the ships are docked, and is safe. There were several uniformed policeman amongst the shoppers. ...

Tampa was a fun city to stay in the night prior to the cruise..... Port was easy to navigate ...

We stayed at the Embassy Suites by the convention center in Tampa. Good location. Short taxi ride from airport. We walked around a bit and had dinner at Columbia Cafe. Great food, amazing mojitos, nice view. A little hard to find but worth it. It was cooler than usual in Tampa but still much warmer than home in PA! We took cab to pier in the morning. Hotel staff said it would be no problem ...

Eat at the Columbia restaurant, but make reservations prior. ...

Stayed 2 nights at Hampton Inn in Ybor City. Interesting area, good hotel. ...
