Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

Our docking experience was quite poor and we got off the ship over an hour late. I hope for future cruisers that this was an isolated experience of a new ship in a new port (the port itself is relatively new technology). Once off we were supposed to have a free bus transfer but none of the NCL staff had any idea what we were talking about. We finally found one supervisor who told us just to take ...

We booked an AirBnB in Sodermalm for 4 nights pre-cruise. Stockholm is well suited to self-touring with great bus and subway services. The locals will make sure you are never lost. What a great city to visit. The Hop-on-Hop off bus and boat give a great overview and is an easy way to hit the highlights of the city. ...

We were moved to a port 90 mins outside of Stockholm which was a bit of a pain. We booked the Hop on Hop off from outside the port building (you have to be off early as once the buses are full thats it regardless of pre booking) We managed to get the bus and Abba ticked for 405 Swedish Krona - when we arrived they were charging 50 euros per person without Abba ticket so it is worth pre booking ...

You do not dock in Stockholm, but another port about 45 minutes away. We weren't too happy about that but took the hop-on-hop-off bus and all worked out. Stockholm is easy to get around, but since it is a short stay we were rushing around to get everything in. ...

Ship docks at Nynashamn south of Stockholm because of it's size and we took the tour bus into the city (about 1 hour) as my partner wouldn't use the train. Having only recently been to Stockholm, and it being a Sunday so everything was shut, we took the metro and a bus to Drottingham Palace (very quick and easy). Having been around the palace and gardens we took a ferry back the the Town Hall. ...
