The islands on the way in to Stockholm are beautiful so I recommend you get up early for that. Another lovely town and very busy. Canal is worth a boat trip for. Again very helpful and friendly people and a good choice of bars and restaurants ...

It’s 60 paces from the Arlanda express downtown station and 10-15 minute walk to City Hall and Gamla Stan.. Great city to visit. Lots to see and do...City Hall, Djursgarden ferry to Vasa, Gamla Stan. ...

Wasa museum was one of the highlights of the whole trip. Again we took the shuttle bus for the same reason. Bigger than Helsinki and lots of places for food and drinks especially around the harbour area. ...

My favourite Baltic city, Vasa Museum a must see and an easy ferry ride from the Stadsgarden port (just €10). You need to allow 2 hours to see Vasa. From here we walked to the Old Town and enjoyed wandering here. Unfortunately we just missed seeing the changing of the guards at the Palace at 12 noon. We should have taken the ferry back to the ship but decided to walk and due to new roadworks ...

We split up so one group could see the Abba museum (disappointing) and the other Skansen (much larger than Seurasaari, but same idea, though fewer open buildings and less attractive environment, so not as good). Vasa museum was excellent and "worth a trip" (as Michelin guides would say). The cruise offered only buses with late departure + late return or early departure + early return. So we ...
