Sadly St Thomas was ravished by hurricanes. Despite the only 40% of the island having power, the cruise port and shopping were up and running. Definitely looking forward to getting back there to really explore the island. ...

The ship was only in port for half a day, 7am to 10am. And the all clear didn't come until after 7:30am, closer to 8am. We just walked around Havensight Mall. Taxi drivers will try to convince you that some of the beaches are ugly, dirty and unsafe, which is ...

We were married in St. Thomas more than 30 years ago and have a soft spot for the island. It was pouring rain but we still ventured out to support the local, independent merchants which we happily did. Beautiful sapphire earrings and other odds and ends at the market stalls on the waterfront. ...
