Did a 'Cruise to the Pitons' trip on catamaran. Decent value and saw Marigot Bay along the way, stopping at a beach to have a swim off the boat, with lots of rum consumed on the way back. ...
Did a tour with Lushan Tours located at the pier. Arthur was amazing. He introduced himself and had everyone go around and give their names and he remembered all 11 of us immediately. The tour took us through the town up in the hills and to a rainforest where we learned about the culture. An amazing tour. ...
We did the tramway in the rain forest on ship tour. The van that took us could have used some new tires but otherwise we arrived safely after about 20 minutes. We had a guide the entire trip and enjoyed the experience despite our guide's insistence that the peak of the forest was 14,000 feet in altitude (its more like 1500 feet). He also firmly believed that one side of St. Lucia faces the ...
St. Lucia is such a beautiful, unspoiled island. We booked a Land and Sea Tour with Edmund Tours and it was wonderful! We visited a banana plantation, drove through the rainforest and quaint fishing villages, took a boat to a bat cave and snorkeled at Anse de Piton where we saw a lot of beautiful fish, visited Toraille Waterfall, and took a soak in therapeutic mud baths at Sulphur Springs. It was ...
We did a Royal Caribbean excursion here - the jeeps to the waterfall and beach. We were very disappointed in this excursion. The ride was 1 hour each way to the waterfall, and the waterfall was nothing special. The fumes from the jeeps were very bad, and made several people nauseous. After coming back to the port area, we were taken to a beach for 50 minutes. Would not recommend this ...
St Lucia- used OCEAN ANGEL water tours and they were excellent. The roads in St Lucia are nauseating. Avoid all road tours if you are even a little sensitive to motion sickness. The water tour took us to the Cinderella slipper, where we were able to jump off the cliff and he also drove the boat right through the tunnel! Spent a few hours at the sugar beach, between the pitons. Lunch included of ...
We did the Viatar trip to the Pitons. We thought it would be mainly on a boat with a little bit of time on a bus. We spent almost the entire day riding around in a bus. St. Lucia is very impoverished and the locals can be aggressive trying to sell their stuff. This is not the type of excursion that I enjoy. ...
