This was a beautiful island with crystal clear water and white powdery sand. We rented a car for the day (50 Euros) and just drove around to various beaches. The roads weren't in great shape and the signage was difficult to follow, but the destinations were worth the effort. The highlight was St. Jean Beach and the Eden Rock Hotel. ...

Great time exploring the island. Driving is on the right side of road. Lots of things to see on this tiny island. Great beaches. Don't miss the airport. Flights coming in are crazier than Maho beach in St. Maarten. ...

Taxi to Shell Beach: you can actaully walk up. Beach is very nice, very costly to rent beach chairs @ US$100 per person per day! Walk on to left of beach and find private alcoves and heated stones to sit on. Restaurant on beach (Shellina) is new and good! ...
